I am still pinching myself to see if this album is real , for the last year i have become accustomed to saying ” Wizkid, where is your album ??” after every new single /video. Well after more than a year of push backs Wizkid has finally released his sophomore album titled “Ayo ” . Ayo , which stands for ‘Joy‘, in Yoruba, is also Wizkid’s first name.
The album contains 19 tracks with hits such as Jaiye Jaiye, On Top Your Matter, Show You The Money and Caro. The album has features from EME Boss Banky W, Sheyi Shay, Phyno, Akon , Yemi Sax , Wale and Young Money’s Tyga .
On first listen track 5 ‘ Ojuelegba‘ seems to be everyones favourite track thus far, closely followed by track 15 ‘Celebrate‘ .
I just hope the delay on the album doesn’t cloud everyones judgement on the quality of the music . You keep people waiting long enough , they will over analyse every lyric , production quality…. everything !!!
