This morning i was thinking , damn i could really do with something new from MI right now . As if he was listening to my thoughts; MI blesses us with a brand new music video just in time for the weekend . Superhuman is a track off the ‘Illegal Music 2’ mixtape which samples Frank Ocean’s ‘Novacane’ .
The main reason i love this track is for the Malcolm X speech at the beginning , as it contains one of my favourite life quotes :
As long as you are convinced you have never done anything, you can never do anything
My interpretaion of this quote is that you should always celebrate your achievements despite any struggles you may have faced . If you do not acknowledge the little successes how will you have the confidence to go for your bigger dreams?
