Music Monday : Adekunle Gold – Sade / Let It Stop

I have seriously fallen off my music game , not sure what happened . Life has just taken over and it has been awhile since a song has compelled me enough to blog.

Well that was until I heard this beautiful track. It was another typical day , I was bored and browsing my Snap-chat stories when I stumbled across this gem of a song !! It may have been the mushy mood I have been in the last few weeks , but I fell in love with the song on first listen ( I tend to find songs relating to my current situations) . His voice reminds me of a mix of Brymo and Ed Sheeran , His sound is totally different and refreshing to the Naija music scene . Sade is a cover of One Direction’s  popular hit ‘Story of my life ‘. ( I am still patiently waiting for an artist to use my name in a song , the downside of having such a unique name 😥 )

After a few Google searches , I found out that Adekunle Gold is currently signed to YBNL . I hope he get’s more promo , he has a sound that could easily go international.
