2013 is nearly over !! As we only have a couple of days of the year left, the next few posts will be my wrap up of the Naija music scene in 2013 .
First up is the top 20 songs of 2013 !! The biggest Nigerian music website ‘Not Just Ok’ (this is the website that first brought me on to Naija music )have asked their readers to vote for their top 20 songs of 2013. I guess by leaving the voting in the hands of their readers, NJOK are trying to avoid a repeat of the drama that has erupted from their previous ” top lists “ loool . Readers have until 11:59 (Nigerian time) on December 31st to cast their votes. You can vote and view the full list of songs nominated here. The top 20 songs will be announced on the 1st January.

Reminisce ft Olamide & Endia – Ijoba (Government) ( this was on the nominations list but I had already hit 20 😥 … This song makes me feel oo street . Olamide is a true lyricist)
Danny Yung – omo lepa ( actually i am not sure if this was 2013 :/)
Olamide – Yemi my lover ( this has to be one of my weirdest break up songs , but I just so much lufff ettt !! )
Blackmagic – repete (not sure why this wasn’t on the list in the first place tbh 
)
It was hard narrowing down to just 20 songs, thank goodness it wasn’t a top 10 list . I would have really struggled.
